My method is based in the Feldenkrais Method® which is a somatic therapy that helps the body to let go of excessive tension, stress or overuse patterns. The end result of my sessions is almost always pain relief and improved postural alignment.
A physical therapist or fitness instructor might verbally instruct you in how to properly sit, stand, or walk, yet in this method, the shifts are automatically integrated into the subconscious, so when you come up from the body-work table, you will automatically stand and walk taller, straighter, and with more balance and ease without you having to even think about it!
You will use less muscular effort when performing everyday movements such as reaching, standing, and walking.
This is the key to having more energy at the end of each day and more joy with your hobbies and exercise!
I begin each session by observing and assessing your posture before laying you down on a bodywork table in a position of comfort.
Gentle skilled touch is used that most often sends you, the client, into a state of utmost relaxation and bliss while the healing occurs.
The method has an immediate effect on the nervous system so that when the session is over you will walk and feel a significant difference.
Your balance, posture, and ease of movement may all be improved as well as your peace of mind.

Upon request, I sometimes incorporate medical intuition & intuitive healing in my pain management treatments. Pain is stored in the body at a cellular level, and each cell responds to the accumulation of our life experiences and beliefs. With this understanding as our starting point, I often view physical and emotional pain as one and the same.
